1. About a year and a half ago, when I was still a newbie, I bought a Crystalline Sword in Lions Arch for 14k. I don't remember what mods it had, but I put it on the GWG auctions and sold it for 185.5k

2. A long time ago in Lions Arch someone was leaving the game and sold me their Kunnavang for 3k, which I then sold for 100k +2E.

3. During the GW:EN preview event I bought a Saurian Scythe for 40k and sold it just before GW:EN went live for 100k +5.

r8 15^50 half moon for 23k resold for 500k
r8 15^50 half moon for 30k resold for 475k
r9 fellblade for 100k resold for 900k
bone dragon for 50k resold for 100+50ecto
r9 insc crystalline for 50ecto resold for 500 ecto(might be 100+450) don't remember clearly.
r13 Stygian for 20ecto resold for 100k+125 ecto
r10 +29 -2 enchanted magmas for 20k resold for 400k}
r10 +29 -2 enchanted for 25k resold for 400k}
Got them on back to back days
6xAureat Aegis r9(prices 10-15k) resold each for 100-125k each

I got many more of those, just those I can remember from top of my head

Aren't that much of a trader, but some of my worst trades;

Sold a R8 Fiery Gladius (one of the first, if not the, r8 NF swords) for 100k+20e, while it was worth ~+100e
Sold a Vizu for 800e, while it's ~1500e now
Bought Eternal Blade R10 for +60e, sold 10 min later for +70e, now it's like +200e

My good trades are in pale contrast to the above bad trades

i bought a mini kuunavang for exactly 98k which i later sold for 100k+22e

so that was a good buy and a good sell

my worst on the otherhand was this.

a guildee gave me an armbrace for my b-day.. and i thought it was usless.. so i sold it for 10k.. (i wash appy about it- i thought it was a good sell on my part)

that could be said for MANY MANY things -- Victo's Bulwark, Sup Absorb, any Kanaxai/Urgoz green, Col Scim, Elemental Sword......etc etc

So I guess I'll state......I sold a max gold insc r11 Col Scim for 70 ectos less than a week before HM dropped, and they could be easily farmed. That would be almost merch fodder now.

Also, I bought a mini shiroken about a week ago for 585 ectos, and while that was a fair price then they have even gotten more expensive. Im thinking rare minis are maybe the only way to earn 'interest' on huge stacks of money, whereas pretty much everything else depreciates.

Few weeks after the last minipet give away I zoned into Kamadan from LA. I was heading to DoA to give Zhed armor then go to bed when some guy said he was selling a yeti. I asked his price and he said 2k. I immediately opened trade and received an undedicated Yeti for 2k, which i sold for 120e. Pretty happy with myself with that trade.

well i was in kaineng and some guy was saying "WTS Bows" so i took a look, this was when there were only 2 campaign, prph and faction, so i checked it out, to my amazement he had a req8 mursaat bow 15^50. he sed hell sell for 20k, which i bought immediately. sold it for 150e a week after to a collector. back when ectos were 9-10k. YEP 10k!

weird, i remember having trouble selling 4 or 5 of those for ~80e each.

Like an year ago, some one sold me their Kunnavang for 1K - he was crying to get hes armor and I said: you have anything to sell? - "Yeh, I got this minipet called a Kunnavang, I'll let it go for 1K", I was like wooaootot?! And accepted in like a second - Sold it for 100K+10e.

Alsp bought an perfect 20/20 old school (q10 :'() Fire Zodiac Staff for 5K, wich I sold few days ago for 100K+20e.

Well anyways my best trade was when I was looking for a zodiac sword for my warrior, back when Urgoz was the sh1t. I saw one selling for 50k and I literally pounced on it. It was +5 energy so I thought that I scammed myself by buying it (I was a noob and didn't know about caster weapons). I give it to my friend to sell for me.

I told him I wanted to sell it for 80k on the guru auction page so he says "sure but lets make the buyout extraordinarily high" So we set the buyout at 100k 30e. After 3 hours of the auction the buyout was met and we sold the sword. When my friend gave me the money from the trade, a person PM's me telling me he'll give me 100k +100e for that zodiac sword. I was pretty pissed.
